What to Expect During Your First Visit
When our clients know what to expect during their first appointment at our veterinary hospital, it always make the process more pleasant for them, and for their pets, too. During your first visit, we will get to know you and your pet, and welcome you both into the Stage Road Animal Hospital family!
Getting Settled
On the day of your first visit, please arrive about 10 minutes early so that you can fill out a New Patient Form for your pet. Or, to save a little time, you can complete this form online.
Meet Your Vet & Talk About Your Pet
Once you and your pet have been introduced to the vet, we'll invite you into an examination room. Here, we'll review your pet's health history and discuss your goals and concerns about your pet's health. We would also be happy to answer any questions you may have.
'Nose to Tail' Exam
The 'nose to tail' exam is a thorough examination of your pet’s skin, coat, eyes, ears, mouth and nose, as well the legs, joints, and abdomen. Older pets may also have blood tests to check their internal organs. If your pet is due for any vaccinations or laboratory work, we will also take care of these needs during this appointment.
CareCredit Financing
